Bentonite for casting coatings
Casting coating is a kind of coating sprayed on the inner wall of the mold in the high-end fine casting process. Its function is to make the great surface of it and avoid the sticking phenomenon between the workpiece and the mold, and facilitate the workpiece to leave the mold. Foundry coating bentonite is often used as a suspension agent to improve the suspension of casting coatings, ensure surface finish, and reduce the high temperature crack resistance of casting coatings.
Product performance indicators:
TOP-G310, TOP-G320 and TOP-G330 are montmorillonite for casting coatings, which are sodium-based bentonite, lithium-based bentonite and organically modified bentonite; It can be applied to a variety of water-based and alcohol-based casting coating systems, with less addition and superior performance indicators.
1. Good suspension performance. In the casting coating, the main function of bentonite is the suspension agent, which can make the casting coating itself uniform and ensure the great surface of the casting workpiece;
2. High temperature resistance. In the casting process, the temperature of the part in contact with the metal liquid generally reaches 1200 °C, and the casting coating in this environment must be able to withstand the test of high temperature;
3. Good fineness. The fineness of the bentonite of the casting coating reaches more than 325 mesh;
4. High purity. High purity casting coating bentonite is conducive to the quality of the casting workpiece due to excessive impurities in the casting process.
